New Album: Madlib & Georgia Anne Muldrow - Seeds

Prolific producer Madlib and the immensely talented singer Georgia Anne Muldrow have joined forces for their new output, Seeds. Madlib is definitely no stranger to collaborating with other artists of genres other than hip-hop. His crossing over actually brings out the best of him, and i's evident here with Muldrow's beautiful and soulful voice over the intricately laced up music that Madlib has constructed to back her up.

There is no option to embed the stream yet, but you can stream it here.

New Free Album: Sapient - Gunwings

The workhorse Sandpeople crew member (and half of Debaser) Sapient  dropped his latest free album, Gunwings. The album is tagged with "A Barrels for Feathers Redux" because, accoridng to Sapient, he was not thrilled with the campaign that the original got. Gunwings is a "revisit" to the 2010 offering and features new beats, new choruses, and new features. This is his first free album, and you can bet to expect the insane production that Sapient has been widely re-known for.

You can download the album here or stream it here:

New Mixtape: Blue Sky Black Death & Nacho Picasso - Lord of the Fly

This one's been out since January, but it's well worth the site space. Critically acclaimed hip-hop soundscape masters Blue Sky Black Death team up with Seattle newcomer Nacho Picasso for his follow up to his solid 2011 tape For the Glory. BSBD's dark and seemingly molasses-powered sounds compliment Picasso's often funny and blunted rhymes. Picasso shifts through styles ranging from the cockiness of Sir Michael Rocks and A$AP Rocky to the absurd and hyperbole-rich of Danny Brown or Odd Future. Being another product of the new-school crowd of charisma-centered rappers, it's a nice fresh of breath air to hear Nacho Picasso going in over production handled by the likes of producers in the style of Blue Sky Black Death.

You can download the tape off Nacho Picasso's Bandcamp here or stream it here:
