New Album: KnowMads - The KnewBook

Known as one of the premier groups from Seattle, the KnowMads come correct with their 2nd release in 2012, The KnewBook. Of course, as with all the previous releases with the KnowMads' name attached, the LP is laced with beautifully crafted instrumentals from Jesse Judd. The album features high profile names like Smoke DZA, Coughee Brothaz, and Ras Kass (who sounds awesome over KnowMads production). The real notable aspect of the LP is the slew of guest appearances from local Emerald City acts such as Real Rogers, Sol, Chev, Tai-Loon, Mario Sweet, and Tsedey. The KnowMads know how to rep. As for the actual emceeing, it's, again, about what you would expect from a KnowMads release: introspective storytelling, emotional verses, and no wasted bars. The KnowMads once again drop a very, very solid release.
